Understanding Marriage, Divorce & Remarriage

“Understanding God’s purpose for marriage is of the utmost importance, because to marry and miss it is to enter into a life full of frustration and disappointment — setting the stage for great marital unrest.” (Reb Bradley)

Divorce in American is fast approaching being the common way of life. Statistics show that the current divorce rate is about 50%. Join us on Sunday mornings @ 9am and Wednesday evenings @ 7pm as we begin a study of marriage, divorce and remarriage. The purpose of this study is to gain a better understanding of God’s teaching on the subject. There may be a tendency to jump right in to what God says about divorce and who can and can’t get a divorce. But to understand God’s teaching about divorce we must first have a good understanding of marriage. In Part 1 of this study we will seek to gain a greater insight into God’s institution of marriage.

Everyone knows what its like to hear your mom tell stories from your childhood. Can you imagine the kind of stories Mary, Jesus’ mom, could tell! Take your kids back to hometown Nazareth, where they’ll stand up for their faith among people who doubt that the carpenter’s son is actually God’s Son. Nazareth teaches kids to love God and his Word!

Walking the Jericho Road
